【IELTS雅思8分】英文作文考試20大實用加分句型

無論是IELTS/ DSE/ GMAT/ GRE/ TOFEL的英文作文部分，迅狐認為，靈活利用多元化英文句型，是最有用的特分技巧之一。

因為，如果只用深奧的vocab，但句型卻只能用上最簡單的Subject-Verb-Object (S-V-O) structure，就像一套破舊西裝上面，襯上亮麗的領呔，考官會覺得很awkward。


迅狐建議，可以利用以下5種特別句型顯示grammar功架（可以準備checklist逐個tick，make sure自己盡用5種句型)：

1. Passive voice (被動式）
例句一、Such measures should be quickly adopted to… (= The government should quickly adopt such measures to …)
例句二、Such problems could be tackled by … (= We can tackle such problems by…)

2. Relative clause:
例句一、The authorities should adopt these measures. These measures can help… → The authorities should adopt these measures which can help…
例句二、The authorities should adopt these measures. Under these measures, citizens can… → The authorities should adopt these measures under which citizens can…

3. Conditionals (If — then):
Type 0 (真理): If water reaches 100 °C, it boils.
Type 1(正常): If it rains, we will stay at home.
Type 2 (純想像，不可能發生): If I were you, I would not go./ If I had a pair of wings, I would fly to Tokyo.
Type 3 (已發生，早知咁做啦): If I had eaten breakfast this morning, I would not have been so hungry.

4. Inversion (倒裝句):
例句一、On no account/Under no circumstances can we…
例句二、Not only should the authorities…, they should also…

5. Nominalisation (名詞化)
例如一、The successful implementation of the plan brought immense profit to the company. (= The plan was implemented successfully and this brought immense profit to the company.) [動詞名詞化]
例如二、It is of utmost/crucial/significant importance (It is very important…) [形容詞的名詞化]

7. Undoubtedly, …/ There is no doubt that …/ No one can deny the fact that…/ We cannot ignore the fact that…/ It goes without saying that …（無可否認）
8. It is public knowledge that… /It is generally believed that… (眾所周知)
9. Similarly, / Likewise, / By the same token, … (同樣地）
10. In fact, /As a matter of fact, /(事實上)

GMAT 全名為 G raduate M anagement A dmission T est。本地及海外的頂尖碩士/研究生課程，幾乎都需求GMAT/ GRE考試達到一定的分數。以香港科技大學(HKUST)為例，報讀其full-time MSC in Finance就必須提交GMAT或GRE的成績。一般而言，商學院較看重GMAT。因為GMAT考試設計本身就是專為商學院而設，連官網也直接叫做 www.mba.com 。 GMAT總分是800分。全球頂尖商學院學生的平均GMAT分數，一般在710以上。 不少考生把目標定在700分以上。不過，事實上，2/3的考生也考不到600分以上。 那麼，如果想報考優秀商學院，我可以像考IELTS一樣，不斷重刷直至考到想要的分數嗎？ 不行。GMAT規定，12個月內最多只能考5次，每次至少相隔16日。最重要的是， 每人一生只可考8次 ！ 因此，必須好好備戰，不要浪費每一次機會！                     GMAT一共考3個小時零7分鐘，考試分為4個部分，主要考核學生的邏輯分析、數學及語文能力。 總分800分是由Verbal和Quantitative兩個部分計算出來的 ，一考完 即時知道分數 。 AWA和Intergrated Reasoning分數會單獨列出在成績單上。AWA在收到正式report時才知道分數。雖然不計在800分，但MBA、法律、文科等看重學生語文水平及邏輯能力，因此同樣不容忽視。 （一）分析性寫作(AWA)：30分鐘，寫一篇大約400–500字文章（其實官方沒說明字數要求，但字數太少難以展現structure及lexical resource）。6分滿分。 題目是一篇100字左右的（看起來合理，但必然有誤的）argument。你的任務是寫一篇文章去分析其謬誤（flaws）。 時間分配好重要！迅狐建議 ， 先用5–10分鐘，用技巧找出最少3個logical flaws，定下寫作大綱(5段式：開頭->3個flaws->結尾)， 把已預備好的開頭結尾萬能句型馬上打出來。 餘下20分鐘，大量運用百搭句型及vocab。最後給自己3分鐘檢查全文，清除spelling和grammatical mistakes。要取5.5至6分，其實不難。   延伸閱讀： 英文寫作必備Paraphrasing技巧 英文作文考試

上一篇 提到，如果本身英文水準一般，即場發揮容易失準。 迅狐建議，準備一些 百搭的「罐頭答案」 吧。不論問題是什麼，都可以隨手開個罐頭，套入去答，再加些 native speakers常用的linking words ，那就perfect了 。 「罐頭答案」可以關於喜歡的地方、書、電影、敬愛的人、難忘的往事、生活群組等。構思時，嘗試套入最少3個topic答都答到。示範一下： 例一、罐頭答案（生活群組）： (Hongkongers) might seem like too busy to  socalise  as they are living among the  hustle and bustle of the city .
